from someone who knows Aang's destiny and watched probably all the episodes that aired on nickelodeon, which is books 1-3, which is pretty much the whole series, but not watching what happens in the end because of busy-ness and misunderstanding that the show had cancelled or changed different time airs, i thought m. night shyamalan did pretty fuckin good at interpreting book 1! im so happy that everyone that hated it was wrong and doesnt know a good movie if they saw one in front of their eyes. so shit, who cares if there were a little tweeks and changes, i mean m night shyamaln wrote, directed, AND produced it himself and can you say pretty amazing?! so i dont get why there are people talking about how it sucks and how its hella weak. i dont get it. haha people these days seriously dont know what a good movie is if it hit them in the head. i cant say it much more but the big changes people might notice is
that Lord Ozai was shown in the beginning,
like they actually showed who it was.
we usually dont see him till book 3 i think around the end of book 2,
but he always talks so, its nice to know who the fire lord is so theres no confusion
and Prince Zuko doesnt become a total traitor until book 2, or not? idont remember
but i remember that his hair wasnt cut until book 2
and i wish Avatar Rokus dragon spirit was fire red instead of hiding in a cave
and THATS pretty much all that i remember that was changed
even though they took out like at least a good idk 5-6 chapters, those details
wouldnt keep the movie going like it wouldnt have helped the audience
keep focus on Aang and his journey just the history of the fire nation earth kingdom water tribe and air nomads--the 4 nations
and i might just be forgetting stuff.
i should discuss this with someone who followed the show
like i did back in those days haha.
haha but i like how they put uncle Iroh drinking a lot of TEA!!!!! haha
i wish he was chubbier haha
oh and the scene when he went to the northern air temple exactly how it was
in the cartoon! not exactly but you can totally know that was when he got
pissed but i was expecting him to be exhausted at the end
Sokka has to be more enthusiastic and LOUDER!

all in all, book 1 was portrayed pretty well in this movie!

this is what i feel about the movie and it was fuckin gooood greaaat! hahaha and i can actually admit that i used to have a big crush on Prince Zuko in the CARTOON AND NOW THE MOVIE =) love you dev patel i seriously did have a weird anime crush on Zuko idk it was his voice and those eyes and that fire burn you can feel his pain sometimes, when watching him at mondays at 830 =) haha or was it 9? see idont even remember anymore! true words true words and its not because of the airbender hype but because the movie brought back some good old memories when that was all i was obsessing over on tv. for those ignorant ass bitches dont talk about my show and the movie how it sucks and shit like you guys actually know what a good movie is psh. i used to LOOOOVE this. and i never really expressed my love for a show like avatar, like ever. i never really express my love for things unless people ask me direct specific questions. so dont walk around like you have the right to criticize a movie like you know wassup though! -j9
omg ive never defended a show like this before haha. this is how serious I am about this hhaha cause i can honestly say i used to love Aang and the gang and his adventure to greatness because i used to obsess over this show. this isnt some hype shit, I loved this cartoon like it was my life or the end of the world if i missed an episode.
but i hate how i forget all the names cause theyre so complicated to say and remember but ill remember faces by people describing scenes and names and shit and ill remember.
ps-reading some reviews from rotten tomatoes, you have to be an old fan or know the whole storyline to get the movie sortof. but if youre also a fan of it, you might see that they shoved HEELLLA episodes in 2 hours, and its prettty hard to do that AND make the movie make sense..
