exit through the gift shop! his first film and it was good! im hecka stupid cause i wasnt expecting the movie to be out in the US at all so i stopped looking at his website for shows here but heads up from ruben! haha after i found out it was showing at embarcadero i was on that! haha it was a sundance film which i forgot so it would have screened here in the US
but yea haha the little things they said were funny and mr frenchy MBW is wacko. in the beginning he reminded me of me where he started filming or taping everything in his life because he doesnt want to miss anything after he found out his dad had an illness and died cause of it and he didnt even know so that made him realize that he cant miss anything that happens to his life after that. but yea it reminded me of me, he did kept doing it because he realized it was his passion and he didnt care how crazy it made him look. but in the end, i was like forgetchu brain wash ahaha. i didnt agree with his approach to art. i mean, yea you got some great ideas, but learn how to express those ideas on a canvas/paper YOURSELF! imean yea youre tryna put your name out there, but dont let other people do it. let them help you but dont let them do it for you. and dont boss them around! i dont think he understood how much blood, sweat, and tears real artists put into their work. mr. brainwash cheated his way to the top, he didnt experience the struggle mostly, almost all artists experience. but you gotta give him credit for actually making it happen, his whole art show and stuff. for someone people barely knew, mbw had everything at that moment, but banksy revealed how much bs he was. he [mbw] didnt appreciate the art he created. he was all about being part of the hype. yea he had good ideas, but sometimes ideas are better off in your head, not to put anyone down, haha =) he didnt care how much it looked like everyone else's kinda like its hard to explain. too much out there, i think ive seen a shirt with some of his art and i was like -______-. hahah he wanted the money more than credability i think personally. but i love how thierry[mbw] taped his cousin, space invader! and shepard fairey (obey andre the giant) +he's cute lmbo haha i wish he stayed taping everything in his life, i thought he was more legit like that, being the one who films the artists. he was crazy tryna go to the highest places with them it was crazy. but i love banksy! hes so good at keeping it all real and true....i think? i be hearing that it was all a joke but i really dont think so, or im just too gullible, which is true ahaha. but i dont believe anything people say out there i just watched it and i have my own opinion, so forget those rumors, unless banksy himself says its a joke then so be a joke. and +why would he waste hella time on making or setting up a film/documentary that's all a joke?! banksys no joke and his film wouldnt be either. -j9
